Welcome to the Thames Valley Centre of the Velocette Owners Club

We are a friendly informal group and have more than 100 members from across the Thames Valley. You don’t need to have a Velocette to come along. If you are interested in Velocettes or classic bikes or just thinking about owning and running a classic bike we can help.

We can introduce you to and demonstrate the different models of the best classic bike around. We believe that Velocettes are for riding and enjoying as well as objects of beauty to admire, so come along and talk to us.

Normally, we meet twice every month at 7:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Update 16th May 2021: At long last we have been able to resume our club nights. The First meeting was on Tuesday 25th May at the Rising Sun, Witheridge Hill, Highmoor, Henley on Thames, RG9 5PF. We are using the Rising Sun as our regular meeting place from now on. It is quite close to the Cherry Tree in Stoke Row. We started using the Rising Sun at the end of last year and have had a warm reception. We now plan to continue our regular 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month meetings. We welcome members and visitors on any bike (classic or modern) or even by car (especially in winter)!

You are very welcome just for a drink and a chat. There are always lively discussions on keeping your bike running well and no formalities here. If you are a Thames Valley member but don’t receive any emails from Jon then you need to contact Jon providing him with your email address and request to to be put on his distribution list, otherwise he cannot contact you under GDPR rules.
